Preparing the passenger side door
We cleaned up the hardware, primed the metal parts and applied PC-Petrifier wood hardener to the wooden door and filled in the chipped areas with epoxy filler.

Restoration Passenger Side

Next the passenger side door
Having completed the driver side door, now we turn our restoration activity to the passenger side. First we removed all the hardware, widow frame and braces. Having the experience with the driver side door helped a lot. We new how it came apart by the trial and error of the first one. Isn't experience great!

Driver Side Door Glass

The driver side door received window glass. Once the door is completely restored we will do the passenger side door.

Weather Seal Driver Side

We installed the driver side metal woven wire leg weather stripping on the passenger side door.

Phase II Restore

With the easy part behind us it' was time to start restoring or replacing parts. This took the longest time because each piece had to be cleaned, inspected, refurbished or replaced. It was fun to learn about each component and gratifying to see each part repaired and ready to install.
